Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Serves / Makes:   4 hearty servings
 
Ingredients
  • 2 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 cups water
 
Preparation
  • In slow cooker, combine apples, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix until apples are well coated.
  • Add rolled oats and water. Do not stir.
  • Cover and cook on low heat overnight (8 or 9 hours).
