Baked Ham

Serves / Makes:  
 
Ingredients
  • Whole or half ham
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • whole cloves if desired
 
Preparation
  • Remove outer skin from the ham, score fat side of ham and insert cloves on fat side
  • Wrap ham in tin foil, pour mixture on ham and seal foil
  • Bake in shallow pan at 275 - 300° for 30 minutes per lb
 
Comments
The above is for a raw ham, if you use a smoked or double smoked ham your baking time will be less and only to thoroughly warm the ham
