Breakfast Casserole

Serves / Makes:  8
 
Ingredients
  • 8 slices crumbled white bread
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 lb browned sausage, bacon or ham
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
 
Preparation
  • Butter a 9x13" pan/dish.
  • Beat eggs with 2½ cups milk and mustard.
  • Layer bread, cheese, meat and egg mixture.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Next day, mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup and ½ cup milk and pour over casserole
  • Bake at 300° for 1 hour
