Doug's Favorite Christmas Casserole

• 16 slices of bread, remove crusts
• 8 large ham slices
• sharp cheese, enough to cover ham
• 6 eggs
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp pepper
• ½ tsp dry mustard
• ¼ cup onion flakes
• ¼ cup green pepper
• 1-2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 3 cups milk
• few drops of  Tabasco Sauce
• ¼ lb butter

• In the bottom of a casserole dish layer 8 slices of bread, place ham on top, then cheese, then the remaining 8 slices of bread.
• Combine eggs, salt, peppers, mustard, onion flakes, Worcestershire sauce and milk and pour over the sandwiches.
• Cover and refrigerate overnight.
• In the morning melt butter and pour over the mixture and garnish with corn flakes if desired.
• Bake uncovered 350° for 1 hour.
• Let rest 10 minutes before cutting.

This is a great Christmas /family dish.
