Easy Hamburger Quiche

Ingredients
  • 1 pastry shell 9 inch, unbaked
  • ½ lb hamburger
  • ½ cup Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1½ cups cheese
  • ½ cup green onion, sliced
  • dash pepper
 
Preparation
  • Brown hamburger in skillet over medium heat, drain and set aside.
  • Blend mayonnaise, milk, eggs and corn starch until smooth.
  • Stir in meat, cheese, onion and pepper.
  • Turn into pastry shell.
  • Bake 350°  for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown on top and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

This is a basic recipe, with which you can let your imagination and taste buds run wild with substitution. I have used ground turkey, ham, chicken, and sausage for the meat. You can add taco seasoning and use regular onions, Monterey Jack Cheese and Cheddar to make a Mexican rendition.
