English Toffee

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup butter
 
Preparation
  • Combine and cook to 290° using a candy thermometer.
  • Pour onto a 9x9 inch pan.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Cover with Hershey's® Chocolate bars and spread.
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  • If you double the recipe use a 9x13 inch pan.
