Char aka Rainbow_Star_dreamer hosted the Fireworks special in July. 103 members participated; full results are in the forum at
the bottom of main league page! Congrats to all the winners!

Jan aka Jm468 hosted the Stealth beetle in July. Members volunteered to be the beetle and rating points were given for those playing against the stealth beetle! This year we also had a Stealth beetle mug. There was a drawing; participants were given a number and a non-staff member chose a number and the participant with the matching number won the mug! Awesome job Jan as always!

TO RETURN TWO (2) TIMES
TIMER WILL BE PLACED ON THE BOOTED PLAYER FOR A CUMULATIVE PERIOD
OF UP TO 4 MINUTES
UPON A THIRD (3rd) BOOT OR THE BOOTED PLAYER HAS EXCEEDED THE 4 MINUTES MAXIMUM
THE PLAYER MAY NOT RETURN TO THIS GAME
AND THE REMAINING TEAM PLAYER MUST GET A SUB FOR THE REMAINDER OF THAT GAME
THE PLAYER MAY CONTINUE IN THE TOUR FOR THE NEXT ROUND GAME
WITH THE
ABOVE BEING EFFECTIVE FOR EACH GAME

in person in 2006 at a spades league gathering, and eloped in 2007 in Vegas!

What is a pet peeve of Jan's?
Its ya y'all or ur which are suppose to be you, you all y'all, or your....... So I am challenging myself to get out of the habit and you can help me.
If ya read the newsletter and see me use any of them words and ya email me then I will pay you 5 bux for each if you're right and catch me.
Sorta like the swear Jar at a house. So keep your eyes peeled and earn some bux for reading the newsletter. I won't repeat this in any other newsletter, but its good for any newsletter that I create and sign!

Closing Note
It's the last month of Summer, vacations are coming to a close soon and School will be starting at the end of the month for most of our children. Be on the lookout for School buses and School crossings. Traffic will be slower so plan ahead! Stay Safe! Enjoy the last bit of Summer and Come to beetlespot as much as you can. When you're not here you are missed!
