My name is Christy and I live in Iowa - I've lived in Iowa my entire life.  I am 42 years old and have been married for 25 years (to the same man).  Not sure how he has put up with me for 25 years.. but I'm glad he has.  I have 3 children, Cindi who is 24, Josh who is 23 and Missy who is 21.  Josh probably will become a member of the league in the near future.  Don't try and dig up any dirt about me from him.. cuz remember I'm an ANGEL :)

I also have been blessed and I mean blessed with two beautiful grandchildren.  Cindi has Skyler who just turned 6 and Josh has Marissa who will be 7 in November.  Missy is expecting her first child in February, so that will make #3 for me.

I have worked at Covenant Medical Center (Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare) for 27 years, I've done a variety of things but the majority of my time was spent in IT (Information Technology) where I dealt with supporting some of the applications that the hospital uses.  Several years ago I branched off into the management world of the hospital, some days I ask myself if it was a good move, other days I love it.  I actually manage the Admissions Department at 3 of the hospitals within the Health System.  I have approximately 60 women that I try and keep under control..... and you guys think that one is bad to keep under control.

My hobbies would include a number of things, of course I love the game of spades and also recently have learned how to play pinochle.  I really have become fond of the FOREVERSPADES league and have made numerous friends and hope to make many more.  I really enjoy a nice, fun, clean game of spades, win or lose, as long as we all have fun.  Playing spades is my time to relax as long as I don't have to get wrapped up in any conflict.. as some of you know... I don't like conflict.  I also enjoy bowling and have bowled on a league for years, enjoy the summers off from this.  I like to spend time with my grandkids and of course I'm a gambler.. love to visit the casinos occasionally and also get together and play poker with friends.  Gosh, I can't forget about the VIKINGS - though I'm sure a lot of you would say the WHO? This is going to be their year.. I can feel it!!

I would like to thank each and every one of you for making this truly the best league out there!!  A friend brought me to this league and I thank them for that!  It's been better than I ever could of expected.
