Jim resides in Duncanville, Texas and was married for 9 years but has been divorced since 1989.  He loves being single and free, hence the ID Freebird and has one son who is 24 years old.

Jims hobbies include football, college basketball, hunting, fishing and of course playing spades.

He has been a member of Foreverspades since January of 2004.  He joined the league because he loves playing spades, but when he started playing online in regular rated games all people wanted to do was cheat and stall.  He then came across Nanna one day in the Spot and she convinced him to join the league.  About a month after joining Jim applied for TD, "because I enjoyed the league so much I just wanted to contribute something back to the league."

There are times he is unable to play or host as much as he would like to be able to but he still loves the league and its members even when he is away.
