Jim resides in Toronto Canada, with his wife of 33 years and their two children; a 26 year old daughter and 22 year old son as well as his two cats. He is an editor in Toronto, a profession which he has been in for the past 32 years.

Some of his hobbies include: spades, fishing, hunting, photography, gardening, movies, reading, travel and football. One team he likes is Green Bay because he admires a team that can play well in severe winter weather. The team he follows the most however would be the Buffalo Bills, due to it being the nearest NFL franchise to Toronto, and he likes the team colors.

Jim enjoys playing here at Foreverspades and has "found the members to be the nicest group of spades players I've ever encountered."
