I live in Pennsylvania in the Philadelphia area.  I have 3 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren.  I am retired, but in my previous life, I was an administrative assistant for a corporate VP.  Being retired hasn’t slowed me down.  I try to get to the Y a couple of times a week, run bus trips to NYC twice a year to see Musicals, I am active in my church choir (lip sync), am in charge of over 100 volunteer ushers at our concert theatre. (www.keswicktheatre.com), am an HTD and TD Manager in Forevers, and go dancing Friday nights, and hopefully Monday night dancing as well soon.

I enjoy reading, exercising, going to the movies, traveling when I can afford it, having my kids for Sunday dinner and playing some poker, playing bridge and playing gin, pool, literati and spades online

When asked about how she came about joining Foreverspades Joan said,  "An online friend taught me how to play and as I was getting experience, a member in Forevers introduced me to the league...it's been a match made in heaven ever since.  I have been a member here for about 4 years now and have been blessed with finding and making wonderful friends in Forevers and my experiences here have all been good."
