I live in Anchorage, Alaska with my husband. We have lived here for 20 yrs.  I have 3 children, 26, 22, and 19.  I love caring for animals also,  I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds and a ferret!

I have been into art since I was a child, however after becoming a mother I needed a career that could provide insurance and a steady income.  In college I had studied fashion design and started working in retail.  Then I worked for Estee Lauder cosmetics for 15 yrs.  I loved it, I really found my niche there,  I was still able to be creative as a make up artist.

Now that my children are grown, I am able to spend more time on my art,  I have sold several paintings and sculptures.  Unfortunately, I am not as prolific as an artist as I should be since I discovered yahoo spades!  lol

I've been playing yahoo spades for about 8 yrs, I think?  Once I started getting into leagues, I became a Td and Admin for several years.  It was there I discovered my new passion... HTML and Web Graphics.  I found I had a flair for it, and I have been having so much fun with it all.  Creating Web pages has endless possibilities, there's always something new to try.  Making graphics, animations, and web sets can be so consuming, I really get into it, and totally lose track of time. lol

I found Foreverspades quite by accident, one day when I was checking out other leagues, I was an admin at another league, and I saw my medals and medals page!  I previously had given permission to someone to use them for their league but he was no longer in this league.  I spoke to Jan, and boy did we click!  We shared ideas, suggestions and helped each other as admins in our respective leagues, and with creating web pages and graphics.  I found myself having so much fun here, I eventually decided to make foreverspades my home.  I have met so many truly nice people here who just want to have fun.  No one appreciates that more than a retired admin and td!  I am very proud to be a part of this "league family"....
