THE BASICS

The Stealth Beetle will be run for one week beginning Sunday January 17th 10 AM tour and running thru Saturday January 23rd 10 PM tour.  

The Stealth Beetle  will be chosen each of those 7 days by Jan (jm468) from among our active players who have volunteered.  This person will be notified by private instant messenger and/or email.  Under no circumstances should this chosen Stealth Beetle reveal him or herself to anyone during that day. 

The Stealth Beetle's job is to play as many tournaments and league games as possible.  The Stealth Beetle   will receive 5 rating points for every match  he or she plays regardless of the outcome of the game.  The idea behind this is to give the members as many opportunities as possible to play against the Beetle that day.

All members that play against the Beetle  will receive 25 rating points for each match. 

 

PENALTIES  

If the Stealth Beetle reveals him or herself to anyone or at any time during that day:

The Stealth Beetle and all those the Beetle played will forfeit all rating points earned that day.  The Stealth Beetle for that day will not be very popular if this happens!!

 

 

CHOOSING THE STEALTH BEETLE  

The Stealth Beetle will be chosen several days in advance.  The Stealth Beetle "on duty" time will run from the beginning of the 10 am tourney through the 10 pm tourney on the day they are the beetle.  The Stealth Beetle must not reveal their identity until after the 10 pm tourney has started!!
