First team to bag out loses

All players must bid one of those 4 bids
However, there can be no repeats on the table

Player 1 has a choice of the 4 possible bids
Player 2 has a choice of the 3 bids left
Player 3 has a choice of the 2 bids left
Player 4 can only bid the last bid that is left

no other bids allowed

All players must bid 3
except the player with the Ace of Spades who must bid 4

Blame the TD
The Td chooses a card for the game

Blind Man's Bluff
Player to the right of the bidder (last to bid) will call which suit to mirror
all players then must bid that suit

 

Bouncing Ball
First bidder states which player must copy their bid
All others bid regular spades

 

Bully Spades
Each hand will be different and
will be stated in the rules on the tournament

 
Chicken Spades
Each team must bid a double nil before the 6th hand
otherwise anything goes
 
 

Closest to 250
Played as Regular Spades Anything Goes
The team closest to 250 at the end of the game wins
 

 
Copy Cat Spades
Copy your partners bid
 

Death to the King - Two Versions
Full Tour 5/9 Hands
All bid double nil....team that takes the King of Hearts in a trick
gets one point....Team that reaches 5 points loses the game

Short Tour 3/5 Hands

 
Don't Get Set - 4 hands only
First hand all bid 1
Second hand all bid 2
Third hand all bid 3
Fourth hand team bid 7
 
 

First Bidder is Boss
Each hand can be different
Game is called by the first player to bid.....

Kill Da Queen
The player with the Queen of Spades MUST bid nil
 

 

Last Call
Last player to bid chooses Truth or Dare
Truth = any game as chosen by the td
Dare = any game as chosen by the td

example: Truth = Reg A/G
Dare = Suicide

 

Last Man's Dead
Regular spades except that the last player to bid MUST bid nil
game must be even number of hands so each team has to bid nil the same number of times

 

Lucky 7
First team to take 7 tricks wins the hand
First team to win 7 hands wins the game.
Bids, bags and score do not matter in this game

 
Make Up the Difference / Lock It Up
Last bidder must make the total bid 13
No Double Nils Allowed
 
 
Mass Suicide
All players must bid nil or double nil
no other bids are allowed
 
 

MIRRORS:

Mirror Clubs: Each player must bid the number of clubs in their hand
total bid on the table must equal 13

Mirror Diamonds: Each player must bid the number of diamonds in their hand
total bid is 13

Mirror Hearts: Each player must bid the number of diamonds in their hand
total bid is 13

Mirror Spades: Each player must bid the number of spades in their hand
total bid is 13

Twisted Mirrors:  First bidder chooses which suit to mirror
each hand could be different suit .. total bid is always 13
 

 
Odd and Even
Odd bids must be bid on odd hands
Even bids must be bid on even hands
Nils are even and only allowed on even numbers hands
Otherwise played as Regular Spades No Double Nils
 
 

RACE TO 300
Anything goes for bidding purposes
First team to reach 300 points wins
If both teams go over 300 the higher score wins
 

 

Regular Spades

Regular AG: Any bids allowed - there are no misbids

Regular No DN: No double nils allowed

Regular No DN with black jack twist:  No double nils allowed and any player
having the ace and jack of spades will earn 21 rating points

Regular No Nils or DN:  No nils are allowed

Regular Rated:  Games are rated with all bids allowed - there are no misbids
 

 

ROBOTS

Most Tricks:  One hand only with the REAL person who takes the most tricks wins.   Robots tricks do not count.

Roulette:  One hand only with a robot as your partner

 

'Round The World
Game is 4 or 8 hands

1st hand -- All bid 1
2nd hand -- All bid 2
3rd hand -- All bid 3
4th hand -- All bid 4
5th hand -- All bid 1
6th hand -- All bid 2
7th hand -- All bid 3
8th hand -- All bid 4
 

 

Royalty Spades
Players must all bid their FACE CARDS:  Jacks, Queens and Kings only
Do not bid any aces...total bid will always be 12

 

Spin the Bottle
First player to bid chooses which player (including him/her self)
must go nil.  No one else may nil.  Only one nil is allowed
 

 

Suicide

Suicide AG:  At least one player from each team must bid nil or double nil
both may also bid nil or double nil if desired

Suicide No DN: At least one player from each team must bid nil
both team members may bid nil if desired
No Double nils are allowed

Suicide Mirror:  One player from each team MUST bid nil
The other team member MUST bid their spades

 

Team 7
This game will always have a total bid of 14
each team must have a total of 7 between them

 
TRICKLESS
All players must bid 1 less than the number of spades in their hand
All tables will be private with kibitz on
 
 

Truth or Dare
First player to bid chooses Truth or Dare
Truth = any game as chosen by the td
Dare = any game as chosen by the td
(Games will be clearly stated on the tourney page)
example: Truth = Reg A/G
Dare = Suicide

 

Whiz
There are only two bids allowed:  players must bid NIL or Mirror Spades

 

Wooden Nickel
The player with the 5 of spades must bid nil regardless of any other cards in their hand

 

You Don't Know Jack
First bidder chooses to say or not say "You Don't Know Jack"
If said the player with the jack of clubs MUST nil
otherwise played as regular spades
